Renewal Trainings are designed to meet state licensing requirements. Topics are chosen based on the latest field trends and workforce demands.
Continuing Education (CE) credits from NJPN’s trainings are widely recognized, thanks to specific board approvals from credential boards, including:

APCB of NJ

NAADAC

NBCC

NASW

Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselors (LCADC) must complete 40 continuing education contact hours for licensed renewal.

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC) are required to complete 60 hours of continued education for certification renewal.

LCADCs/CADCS must complete a committee-approved legal standard course (for more information, refer to N.J.A.C.13:34C-5.2 d)

LCADCs/CADCS must complete three contact hours in the subject area of social or cultural competence in every biennial period (for more information, refer to N.J.A.C.13:34C-5.2.e)
